In case you’re new to this, UGC NET 2025 Results(University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test) is a national-level exam conducted by the NTA. This is the door to ensuring the right to receive assistant teachers and JRFs at universities and universities in India.

First things first you’ll need to head over to the official website. Here’s how:
Go to the official NTA UGC NET portal: ugcnet.nta.nic.in
Click on the link that says “UGC NET June 2025 Scorecard” or “Download Result”.
Enter your:
Application number
Date of birth
Security pin (Captcha)
And boom your result will appear on the screen!

Step 1: Open your browser and type in the official URL.
Step 2: Once on the homepage, look for the flashing “Results” link. Click it.
Step 3: A login window will appear. Input your application number and date of birth exactly as registered.
Step 4: Enter the captcha. Double-check it!
Step 5: Click on Submit.
Step 6: Your result will load. Download the PDF and take a printout. (Trust us you’ll need it later.)

Click on the “Forgot Application Number” link on the login page.
Enter your name, mother’s name, and registered email or mobile number.
You’ll receive your number via email or SMS.

NTA releases category-wise cut-offs for each subject. These cut-offs determine if you qualify for JRF or Assistant Professorship.
General Category: Cut-off is usually around 40% aggregate
OBC/SC/ST/PWD: Cut-off hovers around 35% aggregate
But remember it also depends on subject competition and number of applicants.
