Stree 2 vs GOAT Box Office Collection: Talapathy Vijay’s GOAT Roars While Stree 2 Continues Its Box Office Domination
Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 23: On September 5, South superstar Talapathy Vijay’s GOAT (Greatest of All Time) was released in theaters. The film had already made a strong start with impressive advance bookings. On its opening day, it collected ₹43 crore in India and ₹73 crore worldwide. Despite this, Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, continued to perform exceptionally well at the box office, surpassing the ₹500 crore mark in India in just 23 days, while globally, it crossed ₹600 crore, leaving Gadar 2 behind, which had a budget of ₹60 crore.
According to early estimates from box office tracker Sacnilk, Stree 2 earned ₹4.25 crore on its fourth Friday (23rd day), bringing its total collection in India to ₹507.50 crore, while its worldwide earnings surpassed ₹600 crore.
Looking at the earnings over 23 days, Stree 2 grossed ₹291.65 crore in its first week, ₹141.4 crore in its second week, and ₹70.2 crore in its third week. Despite a decline in earnings, the film has maintained strong box office performance.
As for Talapathy Vijay’s GOAT, it collected ₹44 crore on its first day, with ₹39.15 crore from Tamil, ₹1.85 crore from Hindi, and ₹3 crore from Telugu markets. However, the second day saw a 43.75% drop in earnings, with a collection of ₹24.75 crore—₹22 crore from Tamil, ₹1.5 crore from Hindi, and ₹1.25 crore from Telugu. In its first two days, GOAT earned a total of ₹68.75 crore in India.
